This small Georgian cottage was generally unspoilt but was an obvious candidate for refurbishment bearing in mind Andrew’s passion for restoring period buildings. So this property was given a new lease of life, whilst still using traditional craftsmanship.
The vision was to return the cottage to its former self, by re-establishing the range, lime plaster work, and rescuing the original keeper’s cupboard.
